The launch of Artisan Books
Invitation to the launch of Artisan Books at Riflemaker Gallery in London on 2 October 2013. Heavy weight grey pulp board, foil blocked and drilled with 12 bore shot!
A small but perfectly formed promotional booklet was specially produced for the occasion. Covers reflected the cloths used for binding, and each was blocked using a different coloured foil. Pages were centre singer sewn.
The highlight of the evening was the launch of new Artisan Books for the artist Humphrey Ocean, and the photographer John Swannell – designed by thextension.

The Ford in Britain
Centenary File
Eric Dymock
Produced for Ford by
Dove Publishing
The nation’s hundred year love affair with Ford is celebrated in this handsome volume that rekindles the affection generations had with the nimble Anglias and Prefects, milestone cars like the Consul, Zephyr and Zodiac of the 1950s and the Escorts, Cortinas and Granadas of later years.
Dove specialise in publishing high-quality books on cars and motoring, and Thextension have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with them.
